The Utility Bag has been discontinued and is sold out. We have no plans to make this bag again at this time. (Please note the Long Gear Bag is not a good substitute for Utility, it long and narrow and not the right shape for articles. Great for tracking and long gear though!)

The Doggone Good! Utility Bag has been used and loved for over a decade. We are well known for this design and proud of it. Originally designed specifically for obedience competition, the bag has been expanded and many trainers use it as a general purpose training bag. It is elegant in its simplicity, gives easy access to your articles or gear, and will give you years of service. Features include:
- Double-zipper top for easy access
- Grey interior lining for better visibility
- Shoulder strap
- Pockets on both ends (one with a ventilated mesh end panel)
- Additional pocket inside each end pocket to store gloves or gear
- Padded carry handles
Guidelines for use as an article bag
Please note these are general guidelines. Measure and compare your articles and bulk to our compartment sizes. If you are using bulkier articles, carrying extra pieces, or doing Canadian trials, consider a larger size. If you prefer a snugger or looser fit in your bag adjust accordingly. Keep in mind stewards prefer a looser fit, grumpy stewards are not a good way to start a performance.
Overall size 16" L x 7" W x 7" H
Main compartment 9.5” L
Pockets 3.25” each
Best for articles under 3" (up to double bar). Smaller dogs up to Border Collies with smaller articles.
Overall size 18.75" L x 8.25" W x 7.5" H
Main compartment 11.25” L x8.25” W x 7.5” H
Pockets 3.75” each
Breed examples*: Best for articles for larger breeds (Goldens up)
*Breed examples are for articles most commonly used with that size dog, adjust accordingly. Please note our bags sizes are not intended for mini or small dogs, they will be quite roomy for small articles.
Keep in mind stewards prefer a more roomy fit so they can find the article they need to pull out.
Wash by hand in cool water, line dry.
Do not use products containing bleach.
